The Yellow-eyed Penguin is unique to New Zealand, and is found from Banks Peninsula to the southern Catlins and Stewart Island. The Maori name, Hoiho, means Noise shouter, referring to their shrill calls at breeding sites.

The Hoiho HotSpot shows the yellow-eyed penguin head in close-up with sand pattern as the background.

  • HotSpots are 45mm round magnets featuring three layers of 3mm bamboo and housing a strong ceramic magnet.
